Marine Bollards
MoorMarine offer a large range of bollard types to suit most new wharves as well as retro-fitment. All MoorMarine bollards are manufactured to the very highest level of quality and to in-house and international standards.
The basic requirements of a mooring system is to prevent the vessel from drifting away from a berth or from colliding with adjacent moored vessels.
Bollards are traditionally made of either cast steel or ductile cast iron and installed permanently to a steel or concrete foundation. Their principal characteristics are:
- Large range of mooring line angles
- Easy installation
- Strong and durable
- Low maintenance rate
MoorMarine Bollards come with Interzone 954 epoxy paint system as standard but other protective coatings can be accommodated if required. Various fixing options are available for both concrete cast-in or resin anchors and bolting arrangements typically using Galvanized or Stainless Steel material.
